EFFECTIVENESS OF CIVIL DEFENSE VOLUNTEERS PERFORMANCE OF OMYAI SUBDISTRICT MUNICIPALITY, NAKHON PATHOM PROVINCE

The objective of this research is to study the level of effectiveness in performing duties and opinions on the effectiveness in performing duties of the civil defense volunteers of Om Yai Subdistrict Municipality. Nakhon Pathom Province. This research article was quantitative. The research area was Omyai Subdistrict Municipality, Nakhonpathom Province. The study sample was 172 people who received the assistance from the civil defense volunteers performance of Omyai Subdistrict Municipality, Nakhon- pathom Province in 2022, totaling 172 people, using all people was the sample in this study. The research instrument is a questionnaire. The data analysis was based on statistics, percentage, mean, and standard deviation.
The results found that: 1) Effectiveness level of civil defense volunteers performance of Omyai Subdistrict Municipality, Nakhonpathom Province when considered as a whole, it was found to be at a moderate level ( = 3.20) and when considered in each aspect, it was found to be at a high and moderate level. 2) Results of comparing opinions on the civil defense volunteers performance of Omyai Subdistrict Municipality, Nakhonpathom Province was in terms of social roles. And regarding the role of local politicians, it was found that the aspect with the highest mean value was the social role of the Local Government Organization ( = 3.55) and the aspect of the role of civil defense volunteers to local politicians had the lowest average ( = 3.00).
