THE DEVELOPMENT OF TRAINING COURSE CURRICULUM ON CLASSROOM ACTION RESEARCH FOR STRENGTHEN THE POTENTIAL OF TEACHING THAI LANGUAGE OF TEACHING PROFESSIONAL STUDENTS

Abstract

This research the objectives are as follows: 1) To create a curriculum and training manual on classroom action research to strengthen the teaching potential of Thai language students in the teaching profession. 2) To compare the results of using the training course on action research in the classroom. 3) To assess the satisfaction of trainees towards the training course on action research in the classroom. This research is a type of experimental research. The sample group consisted of 30 undergraduate students/person by simple random sampling. The research tools were learning management plans for training courses. Achievement test and satisfaction assessment. Statistics used include mean, standard deviation, and Dependent Sample t-test.

The research results were found: 1) Results of creating a curriculum and training manual on classroom action research. Receive training course documents including principles and rationale, objectives, and structure of the course. Guidelines for organizing training activities Media used for training. Training measurement and evaluation and criteria for passing the training course and training documents which includes Course guide for training providers and trainees 2) Comparative results of using the training curriculum on action research in the classroom, it was found that the scores after attending the training were significantly higher than before attending the training at the .05 level. 3) Results of the assessment of trainees' satisfaction with the training course on classroom action research, it was found that the trainees were overall satisfied at the highest level (  = 4.61, S.D. = 0.49).
