THE ROLE OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OF MONKS IN PHUTTHAISONG DISTRICT BURIRAM PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this research are 1. to study the level of roles 2. to study comparative results 3. to present guidelines for promoting the role of community development of monks in Phutthaisong District. Buriram Province The research method is a combined method between Quantitative research used questionnaires with a reliability value of 0.978 from a sample group of 134 monks. Data were analyzed using statistics, frequencies, percentages, means, standard deviations and qualitative research. Use an interview form to collect data from 10 key informants or people and analyze the content descriptively. Summarized in an essay.

The results of the research found that: 1. The community development role of the monks in Phutthaisong District Buriram Province Overall and each item is at a moderate level (x̅=2.96, S.D. = 0.19) 2. Results of comparing the opinions of monks on the community development role of the monks in Phutthaisong District Buriram Province, as a whole, it was found that the monks with the age of Lent and general education qualifications and the educational qualifications of Dhamma monks are different. They have different opinions. Therefore, the hypothesis was rejected. 3. Guidelines for promoting the community development role of the Sangha in Phutthaisong District.
