FACTORS AFFECING THE DECISION TO CHOOSE THE ORDINATION OF BUDDHISTS IN PAK CHONG DISTRICT NAKHON RATCHASIMA PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this research are 1) to study the level of decision making in choosing ordination (2) to study factors affecting the decision to choose ordination (3) to present guidelines for promoting decision making in choosing ordination ordination. The research method is a combined method. Quantitative research used a questionnaire with a reliability value of 0.865 from a sample of 309 monks. Data were analyzed using statistics, frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and analyzed using stepwise regression. and qualitative research Interviews with 10 key informants or people were analyzed descriptively.

The research results found that 1. The level of decision to choose Buddhist ordination ordination in Pak Chong District. Nakhon Ratchasima Province Is at a high level ( =4.17) 2. Personal satisfaction Affecting the decision to choose Buddhist ordination, there are two aspects, with statistical significance at the 0.01 level, indicating that individual satisfaction They were able to jointly predict the decision to choose Buddhist ordination for 52.3 percent of Buddhists, thus accepting the research hypothesis. 3. Guidelines for promoting the decision to choose Buddhist ordination ordination.
