AUTHENTIC LEADERSHIP OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS UNDER ANGTHONG PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the authentic leadership of school administrators, and 2) to compare the opinions of teachers on the authentic leadership of school administrators classified by gender, education level, work experience, and school size. The sample consisted of 248 teachers. The research instrument was a questionnaire, with content validity, IOC values between .67-1.00 and a reliability value of .98. The data were analyzed by using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, One-way ANOVA, and LSD.
The results of the research were as follow: 1) the authentic leadership of school administrators was at a high level in overall, and particular aspects, ranking from the highest to the lowest mean: Internalized moral perspective, Balanced processing, Relational transparency, and Self-awareness, and 2)the opinions of teachers on the authentic leadership of school administrators classified by gender and school size were not different in overall, and particular aspects, while the differential education level were not different in overall, and particular aspects, except Self-awareness was statistically significant at the level of .05, moreover, the differential work experience was not different in overall, and particular aspects, except Self-awareness and Relational transparency were statistically significant at the level of .01 and .05.
