INNOVATIVE THINKING SKILLS OF TEACHERS IN SAMUT PRAKAN VOCATIONAL COLLEGE

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the innovative thinking skills of teachers in Samut Prakan vocational college, and 2) to compare teachers' opinions on the innovative thinking skills of teachers in Samut Prakan vocational college, classified by gender, education level, work experience, and vocational college. The sample consisted of 201 teachers in Samut Prakan vocational college. The research instrument was a questionnaire with a content validity, IOC values, between .67–1.00 and a reliability value of .96. The data were analyzed by using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, One-way ANOVA, and LSD. content analysis.
The results of the research were as follow : 1) the innovative thinking skills of teachers in Samut Prakan vocational college were at a high level in overall, and particular aspects, ranking from the highest to the lowest mean : Innovative climate, Creative thinking, Using the innovation and digital technology, Competencies, Innovative activity, and Teamwork, and 2) the opinions of teachers on the innovative thinking skills of teachers in Samut Prakan vocational college classified by gender, work experience, and vocational college were statistically significant at the level of .05, while the differential education level was not different.
