PEOPLE'S ATTITUDE TOWARDS DEMOCRATIC GOVERNMENT IN KHLONG MADUEA TOWN MUNICIPALITY, KRATHUM BAEN DISTRICT, SAMUT SAKHON PROVINCE

Abstract

The objective of this research article were : 1. To study people's attitude towards democratic government in Khlong maduea Town Municipality, Krathum Baen District, Samut Sakhon Province, 2. To compare people's attitude towards democratic government in Khlong maduea Town Municipality, Krathum Baen District, Samut Sakhon Province, classified by gender, age, education level, and different occupations. and 3. To propose recommendations for democratic governance of the people in Khlong maduea Town Municipality, Krathum Baen District, Samut Sakhon Province. By conducting research using quantitative research. The sample group consisted of people living in Khlong Maduea Municipality. Krathum Baen District Samut Sakhon Province. Together with village health volunteer,community committee, village Headman  , members of the council and executive committee of Khlong Maduea Municipality, and Civil Defence Volunteer totaling 129 individuals. Research tools included questionnaires and statistical analyses utilizing frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation.

             The research results revealed that :

1. People's attitude towards democratic governance in Khlong Maduea Municipality Krathum Baen District Samut Sakhon Province Overall it is at a high level. If considering each aspect in order from highest to lowest average, it is as follows: Equality. Sovereign power Rights and freedoms and participation.
   2. Compare people's attitudes towards democratic governance in Khlong Maduea Municipality. Krathum Baen District Samut Sakhon Province found that people with and different educational levels They have different attitudes towards democratic governance. and different careers Have an attitude towards democratic governance no different. 3. Suggestions for democratic governance of the people in Khlong Maduea Municipality as follows: The government sector should promote and support people to have knowledge and understanding about the protection of rights and freedoms that citizens should have according to the constitution. Promote knowledge and understanding about equality that people should have legal protection. Create a process of participation with the community and society to exchange opinions with each other. and create understanding of sovereignty for the people. By publicizing through various media to let people know about the correct sovereignty.
