PEOPLE’S PARICIPATION IN MAKING PLANS FOR LOCAL DEVEOPMEANT OF SALAYA MUNICIPALTY , PHUTTHAMONTON DISRCT , NAKHONPATHOM PROVINCE

Abstract

The objective of this thematic peper werw as follows: (1)to Study people’s participation in making plans for local development of Salaya  Municipality, Phutthamonthon District, Nakhon Pathom Province (2) to compare study people’s participation in making plans for local development of Salaya Municipality, Phutthamonthon District, Nakhon Pathom Province (3)to study suggestions conceming people’s participation in making plans for local development of Salaya Municipality, Phutthamonthon District, Nakhon Pathom Province. Research instruments were questionnaires. A sampling grub of research was 387 of the people in clude Salaya Municipality, Phutthamonthonthon District, Nakhon Pathom Province. Research instruments wera the scales with the scale of 5 levels of 21 questions, and the reliability was ,84. The used statistics were descriptive statistics, frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and inferenfal statistics; T-test or One-Way ANOVA test sized by Taro Yamane's table and used simple random sampling by drawing lots on collecting data. Statistics used were descriptive, including frequency and inferential statistics, including testing. If differentiation was found, it was tested in a pair by mean of Scheffe and analyzed by computing 

          The results of research were found as follows:

1. Research results to study public participation in the preparation of local development plans. Salaya Subdistrict Municipality Phutthamonthon District Nakhon Pathom Province was found to be at the highest level overall when considering each aspect. Sorted by average from highest to lowest as follows: Monitoring and Evaluation Practical aspect and planning, respectively.
2. Research results to compare public participation in the preparation of local development plans of Salaya Subdistrict Municipality Phutthamonthon District Nakhon Pathom Province found that people with different levels of education participated in the preparation of the local development plan of Salaya Subdistrict Municipality. Phutthamonthon District Nakhon Pathom Province Overall different Significant at the 0.05 level. As for people of different genders, ages, and occupations, their participation in the preparation of local development plans was not different.
