BUDGET ADMINISTRATION OF THE SCHOOLS UNDER AYUTTHAYA CITY MUNICIPAL

This research aimed to 1) study the budget management of educational institutions under the Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Municipality, 2) compare the budget management of educational institutions under the Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Municipality classified by educational qualification and school size. The sample group used in this research consisted of 140 teachers, obtained by determining the sample size from the Krejci and Morgan table and stratified random sampling using the grade level as the stratum and simple random sampling. The research instrument was a rating scale questionnaire with a reliability of 0.95. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and one-way analysis of variance.
The research results found that:
- Budget management of educational institutions under the Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Municipality is at a high level overall. When considering each aspect, it was found that it was at a high level in all aspects, ranked from highest to lowest as follows: financial management, accounting management, resource mobilization and investment for education, material and asset management, budget allocation, inspection, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of budget and performance, and budget preparation and proposal.
- Teachers with different educational qualifications There were no differences in opinions on the budget management of educational institutions under the Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Municipality overall. When considering each aspect, it was found that the budget preparation and proposal aspect and the resource mobilization and investment for education aspect were significantly different at the .05 level. 3. Teachers working in schools of different sizes had no differences in opinions on the budget management of educational institutions under the Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Municipality overall and each aspect.
