FACTORS AFFECTING ON LEARNING ORGANIZATIONS IN THE DIGITAL ERA IN SCHOOLS UNDER THE SURIN SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE

Abstract

This research aimed to study 1) factors and levels of factors affecting on learning organizations in the digital era; 2) levels of being learning organizations of schools in the digital era; 3) relationships between the factors affecting on learning organizations in schools in the digital era; and 4) factors affecting on learning organizations in schools in the digital era under the Surin Secondary Educational Service Area Office. The sample, obtained from a group of 70 schools under the Surin Secondary Educational Service Area Office using the stratified random sampling by collecting data from principals and teachers, was a 140 people. The instruments used for collecting data included a five-point rating scale questionnaire. The reliability of the questionnaire was at 0.96; the reliability of factors affecting on learning organizations in schools in the digital era was 0.95; and the reliability of being learning organizations of schools in the digital era was 0.89. The data analysis was performed using mean, standard deviation, the Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis – enter method.

          The research results were as followings:

1. The levels of factors affecting on learning organizations in the digital era under the Surin Secondary Educational Service Area Office Surin are
   1) Organizational structure and communication 2) Supportive Learning Environment 3) Technology 4) Leadership in Digital Era 5) Corporate culture and 6) Motivation. The factors as an overall and each aspect were at high level.
2. The levels of being learning organizations in the digital era of schools under the Surin Secondary Educational Service Area Office as an overall and each aspect were at high level.
3. The relationships between the factors affecting on learning organizations in the digital era of schools under the Surin Secondary Educational Service Area Office provided a positive relationship with statistical significance at 0.01 level. The Pearson's coefficient (r) was 0.892, which the two variables had the positive relationship at a high level.
4. The factors affecting on learning organizations in the digital era of schools under the Surin Secondary Educational Service Area Office provided a predictive power of 79.90 at 0.01 level of statistical significance.
