ADMINISTRATIVE SKILLS OF ADMINISTRATORS OF PRIVATE EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS ACCORDING TO THE OPINIONS OF TEACHERS IN BANGKOK UNDER THE OFFICE OF THE PRIVATE EDUCATION COMMISSION

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to 1) to study of administrative skills of administrators of private educational institutions according to the opinions of teachers in bangkok under the Office of the Private Education Commission and 2) to compare the opinions of teachers of administrative skills of administrators of private educational institutions in bangkok under the Office of the Private Education Commission, classified by position, age, education level, and school size. The sample consisted 399 teachers under the Office of the Private Education Commission. The research instrument was a questionnaire with content validity, IOC values between .67-1.00, a reliability value of .98. The data were analyzed by using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, One-way ANOVA, and LSD.

          The research results were as follow: 1) administrative skills of administrators of private educational institutions according to the opinions of teachers in bangkok under the Office of the Private Education Commission was at a high level in overall, and particular aspects, ranking from the highest to the lowest mean: Interpersonal skills, communication skills, decision-making Skills, technical skills and conceptual skills 2) the opinions of teachers of the administrative skills of administrators of private educational institutions in bangkok under the Office of the Private Education Commission, classified by gender and zone were statistically significant at the level of .01 and .05, while the differential age, education level and work experience in overall were not different.
