GUIDELINES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE MANAGEMENT OF LOCAL WISDOM LEARNING RESOURCES TAI-YUANOF OF SCHOOL IN SIKHIO MUNICIPALITY, SIKHIO DISTRICT, NAKHON RATCHASIMA PROVINCE

Abstract

This research was a combination of qualitative and quantitative research. The objectives of this research were 1) to study the status of the administration of Tai Yuan local wisdom learning resources of educational institutions in Sikhio Municipality, Sikhio District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, and 2) to develop the guidelines for the administration of Tai Yuan local wisdom learning resources of educational institutions in Sikhio Municipality, Sikhio District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. The research was divided into 2 steps: Step 1: to study the status of the administration of Tai Yuan local wisdom learning resources of educational institutions in Sikhio Municipality, Sikhio District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province; and Step 2: to study the guidelines for the administration of Tai Yuan local wisdom learning resources of educational institutions in Sikhio Municipality, Sikhio District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. The population used in the study was 53 executives and teachers and 3 representatives from the Tai Yuan community. The research instruments were semi-structured interviews and 5-point scale questionnaires. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Qualitative data analysis Two teachers in charge of learning resource use and three representatives from the Tai Yuan community were interviewed. Content analysis was used to summarize the analysis results and classify similar texts and present them in an essay format to answer the research objectives. The research results found that:

          1) Step 1: The learning resource management conditions of educational institutions in Sikhio Municipality, Sikhio District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, found that both schools under study used learning resource management of Tai Yuan local wisdom by including it in the local curriculum and integrating it with each of the 8 learning subject groups. The results of the study of the learning resource management conditions of educational institutions according to the PDCA cycle found that overall, the results were at a high level (x̄ = 3.84). The aspect with the highest average value was planning for learning resource use (x̄ = 4.10), followed by implementation of learning resource use (x̄ = 4.10), and supervision, monitoring, inspection, and evaluation of learning resource use (x̄ = 3.92), respectively.
