GUIDELINES FOR DEVELOPING VOCATIONAL EDUCATION MANAGEMENT OF THE DUAL SYSTEM OF THE VOCATIONAL EDUCATION OFFICE, PRA NAKHON SI AYUTTHAYA

This research aimed to 1) study the current status and problems of dual vocational education management in educational institutions under the supervision of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Vocational Education Commission and 2) propose guidelines for the development of dual vocational education management in educational institutions under the supervision of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Vocational Education Commission. This research was a mixed-methods research, divided into 2 steps: Step 1 was a quantitative research, collecting data using a questionnaire with a reliability value of 0.93. The sample consisted of 175 people, using a simple random sampling method. The statistics for data analysis were percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Step 2 was a qualitative research, collecting data from 7 key informants, using a purposive sampling method using an interview form, which was obtained and analyzed in terms of content.
The research results found that 1) The current status of dual vocational education management in educational institutions, overall and in each aspect, had an average value at a high level. When considering each aspect, the aspect with the highest average value was cooperation, and the aspect with the lowest was curriculum management. Problems of dual vocational education management in educational institutions, overall and in each aspect, had an average value at a moderate level. When considering each aspect The aspect with the highest average score is the curriculum management, and the aspect with the lowest score is the teaching and vocational training management. 2) The guidelines promote educational institutions and business establishments to jointly create a vocational training plan and organize teaching and vocational training in vocational fields that meet the needs of the business establishments, create incentives for business establishments to participate in education management, create an image of dual vocational education in terms of career opportunities, organize a system for checking progress and reporting the results of vocational training of vocational trainees, promote the development of learners in terms of academic knowledge and professional skills according to the learning objectives and competencies of each subject.
