FACTOR ANALYSIS Of STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP Of EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION ADMINISTRATORS IN POLYTECHNIC COLLEGESIN THE CENTRAL REGION

The objective of this research was to analyze factor analysis of strategic leadership components of educational institution administrators in polytechnic colleges in the central region. The sample consisted of 278 people : 61 educational institution administrators, and 217 teachers of polytechnic colleges in the Central Region using the stratified random sampling method according to polytechnic college. The research instrument was a questionnaire with a validity (IOC values) of .67-1.00 and a reliability value of .984. The data were analyzed by using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and exploratory factor analysis.
The results of the research were as follows: factor analysis of strategic leadership components of educational institution administrators in polytechnic colleges in the central region had 7 main components and 39 variables : 1) Integrated Thinking with 12 variables, 2) Vision with 6 variables, 3) Initiative with 4 variables, 4) Potential Development with 5 variables, 5) Proactive working with 3 variables, 6) Participation with 5 variables , and 7) Ethics with 4 variables.
