PERFORMING THE DUTIES OF THE VILLAGE HEADMAN VILLAGE HEAD OF NON SANG SUBDISTRICT, NON SANG DISTRICT, NONG BUA LAMPHU PROVINCE

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) study the performance of the village headmen and sub-district headmen of Non Sang Sub-district, Non Sang District, Nong Bua Lamphu Province, 2) compare the performance of the village headmen and sub-district headmen of Non Sang Sub-district, Non Sang District, Nong Bua Lamphu Province classified by gender, age, education level, and occupation, and 3) provide information and guidelines for developing the performance of the village headmen and sub-district headmen of Non Sang Sub-district, Non Sang District, Nong Bua Lamphu Province. The sample group used in the research was people aged 18 years and over living in Non Sang Sub-district, calculated using Taro Yamane's formula, 379 people. The instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire consisting of 3 parts. The statistics used for data analysis were descriptive statistics, including numbers, percentages, means, and standard deviations, and inferential statistics, including T-test and F-test. The reliability of the questionnaire was 0.754.

          The research results found that :

          Performing the duties of the village headman Village headman of Non Sang Subdistrict, Non Sang District, Nong Bua Lamphu Province Overall, it was at a high level ( = 3.93) and when considering each aspect, it was found that the aspect with the highest average was career development and promotion ( = 4.16), followed by registration and card work ( = 4.07) and The area with the lowest average was being a legal officer ( = 3.64).

          Comparative results of the performance of duties of village headmen Village headman of Non Sang Subdistrict, Non Sang District, Nong Bua Lamphu Province classified by gender, age, education level, and occupation, overall village headman Village headman of Non Sang Subdistrict, Non Sang District, Nong Bua Lamphu Province with different occupations There was a significant difference in performing duties at the 0.05 level. As for the village headman, village headman of Non Sang Subdistrict, Non Sang District, Nong Bua Lamphu Province. Classified by gender, age and different educational levels, their duties were not different.

          Suggestions for improving the performance of duties of village headmen, Non Sang Subdistrict, Non Sang District, Nong Bua Lamphu Province include: The village committee should strictly and regularly inspect village safety at night more than this.
