THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE ABILITY TO USE SMALL MUSCLES THROUGH CREATIVE ARTS ACTIVITIES OF EARLY CHILDHOOD CHILDREN

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) develop the ability to use small muscles of early childhood children in early childhood development centers in Mueang Buriram District through creative arts activities, and 2) compare the ability to use small muscles of early childhood children in early childhood development centers in Mueang Buriram District before and after organizing creative art activities. This research is pre-experimental research with one group pretest - posttest design. The sample consisted of 22 2-year-old male and female preschool children from Ban Kaen Charoen Child Development Center, obtained by cluster random sampling. The research instruments used in this study consisted of 15 creative arts activities plans for early childhood children. All plans were found to be highly appropriate according to the evaluation list. And the assessment of the ability to use small muscles of early childhood children has an IOC value of 1.00. Data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test.

The research results found that 1. After developing with creative arts activities, early childhood children in the child development center in Mueang Buriram District had the ability to use small muscles at a good level and 2. After development with creative art activities, early childhood children at the Child Development Center in Mueang Buriram District had the ability to use small muscles significantly higher than before development with creative art activities at the .05 level.
