THE ROLE OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS AND TEACHERS IN THE 21ST CENTURY UNDER THE OFFICE OF THE NONG KHAI PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA 1

The objectives of this study were 1) To study expectation of schools administrators and teachers on the roles of schools administrators and teachers and necessary skills for schools administrators and teacher in 21st century and 2) To compare the expectation of schools administration and teachers on training for 60 persons. The instruments using for data collection were the questionnaires. The analysis of data the package program for statistical calculation included percentage and standard deviation. The hypothesis testing uses t-test.
The results of findings were as follows:
1.The expectation towards roles and duties of academic administration was in the highest level included 1. performance of effective team-work, 2. professionality as organizing leader and 3. wing the variety skills for problems solving.
2.The expectation towards roles and duties of teachers was in the highest level included 1. capacity on knowledge and skills on percentage of learning 2. being for virtue, ethics and morality and 3. the teachers should be with knowledge and good skills for teaching.
3.The necessary skills for academic administrators and teachers include 1. performance of effective teamwork and planning skills, 2. capacity on using technology, 3. problem solving, 4. capacity on administration and 5. capacity on decision.
4.The comparison of exportation for schools administrators and teachers was on the same, but, there were 2 items were on difference as (1) professionality as organizational leader and support for development and creation for organization of learning and (2) schools administrators and teachers with the expectation on the roles of teachers as the same. But, there were sometimes and were on difference as 1. being teachers with the spiritual mind and giving, 2. being on knowledge and capacity and skills on performance of learning, 3. the teachers school be on creation of motivation and accommodation for effective learning. The schools administrators and teachers with. The expectation for necessary skills for schools administrators and teachers on difference as (1) the skills on planning, (2) the skills on relative creation, (3) the skills for using technology and (4) the skills on creation for authority
