THE BUDDHIST-ORIENTED ADMINISTRATIVE MODEL OF PHRA PARIYATTIDHAMMA SCHOOL AT CHAO PHRAYA BODIN DECHA, WATMAHATHATWORAWIHAN, NAI MUEANG SUBDISTRICT, MUEANG SUBDISTRICT, YASOTHON PROVINCE

The objectives of this research were: (1) to study the Buddhist principles applied in the management model of Chao Phraya Bodin Decha Buddhist Scripture School, Watmahathatworawihan, Yasothon Province; (2) to analyze the structure and management processes of the school in the context of its development; and (3) to propose an appropriate Buddhist-oriented management model for the future development of Buddhist Scripture schools. The study employed a mixed-methods approach. For the quantitative research, the target group consisted of 120 individuals, and data were collected using a questionnaire. Statistical methods used for data analysis included percentage, parameter (µ), and standard deviation (σ). For the qualitative research, the key informants were 13 individuals, and data were gathered through focus group discussions. Triangulation was used to verify the data, and the findings were interpreted, analyzed, synthesized, and presented descriptively.
The results of the research revealed the following: 1) Overall satisfaction with organizational management was at a moderate level (µ = 3.10, σ = 0.96). 2) The structure and management processes of Chao Phraya Bodin Decha Buddhist Scripture School, in the context of its development, comprised five aspects: (1) organizational structure, (2) management based on the Four Sublime States of Mind (Brahmavihara), (3) fostering a participatory learning culture, (4) community involvement and external support, and (5) the application of Buddhist principles in management. 3) The proposed Buddhist-oriented management model for the future development of Buddhist Scripture schools included seven aspects: (1) adopting the Middle Path (Majjhima Patipada), (2) managing based on the Four Sublime States of Mind (Brahmavihara), (3) fostering a participatory learning culture, (4) applying the Noble Eightfold Path (Ariya Magga) as a balanced approach, (5) sustainably managing resources based on the principles of the Four Bases of Social Harmony (Sangahavatthu), (6) employing systematic and analytical thinking (Yoniso Manasikara) in decision-making, and (7) enhancing the potential of educational leaders as practitioners of Dhamma.
