GOOD GOVERNANCE ADMINISTRATION OF KLANG YAI SUBDISTRICT MUNICIPALITY, BAN PHUE DISTRICT, UDON THANI PROVINCE

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) study the level of administration according to the principles of good governance of Klang Yai Subdistrict Municipality, Ban Phue District, Udon Thani Province, 2) compare the level of administration according to the principles of good governance of Klang Yai Subdistrict Municipality classified by gender, age, education level and occupation, and 3) study the guidelines for the development of administration according to the principles of good governance of Klang Yai Subdistrict Municipality. The sample group used in this research was 379 people living in the area of ​​Klang Yai Subdistrict Municipality, aged 18 years and over, using Yamane's formula. The instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire. The statistics used for analysis were number, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and data analysis for hypothesis testing using the T-Test and F-Test.

          The research results found that:

1. The administration according to the principles of good governance of Khlang Yai Subdistrict Municipality, Ban Phue District, Udon Thani Province, was overall at a high level ( = 3.75, S.D. = 0.38). When considering each aspect, it was found that the aspect with the highest mean was the principle of effectiveness ( = 4.23, S.D. = 0.40), followed by the principle of responsiveness ( = 4.08, S.D. = 0.46), and the aspect with the lowest mean was the principle of participation ( = 3.33, S.D. = 0.83).
2. Results of the comparison of the good governance of Klang Yai Subdistrict Municipality, Ban Phue District, Udon Thani Province Categorized by gender, age, education level, and occupation, the image shows that people with different genders, ages, education levels, and occupations have similar opinions on the good governance of Klang Yai Subdistrict Municipality, Ban Phue District, Udon Thani Province.
3. Guidelines for developing good governance of Klang Yai Subdistrict Municipality include developing and improving work systems to make operations faster and more efficient, such as using technology to manage data, communicate, or provide services to the public via online channels.
