GOOD GOVERNANCE MANAGEMENT OF NON SUNG PLUEAII SUBDISTRICT MUNICIPALITY, SRI BUN RUEANG DISTRICT, NONG BUA LAMPHU PROVINCE

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) study the governance management of Non Sung Pluea Subdistrict Municipality, 2) compare the governance management level of Non Sung Pluea Subdistrict Municipality classified by gender, age, education level and occupation, and 3) propose guidelines for the development of governance management of Non Sung Pluea Subdistrict Municipality. The sample group used in this research was 362 eligible voters living in Non Sung Pluea Subdistrict Municipality using Taroyamane's formula. After that, the researcher used simple random sampling. The tool used for data collection was a questionnaire. The statistics used for analysis were descriptive statistics, including numbers, percentages, means, and standard deviations, and inferential statistics, including t-tests and F-tests.

          The research results found that :

1. The management according to the principles of good governance of Non Sung Plue Subdistrict Municipality, Si Bun Rueang District, Nong Bua Lamphu Province, was at a high level overall ( = 3.73, S.D = 3.73). When considering each aspect, it was found that the aspect with the highest average value was the rule of law aspect ( = 4.22, S.D = 0.39), followed by the principle of consensus ( = 4.11, S.D = 0.51), and the aspect with the lowest average value was the principle of transparency ( = 3.10, S.D = 0.38).
2. The results of the comparison of the governance management of Non Sung Plue Subdistrict Municipality, Sri Bun Rueang District, Nong Bua Lamphu Province classified by gender, age, education level, and occupation. Overall, people with different genders, ages, education levels, and occupations have no different opinions on the governance management of Non Sung Plue Subdistrict Municipality, Sri Bun Rueang District, Nong Bua Lamphu Province.
3. The proposal for the development of the governance management of Non Sung Plue Subdistrict Municipality, Sri Bun Rueang District, Nong Bua Lamphu Province includes the following: There should be a method for checking budget spending to ensure value for money and create efficiency in management that is easy to use and fast.
