DEVELOPMENT OF READING AND WRITING SPELLING ABILITIES IN ENGLISH THROUGH PICTURE WORD INDUCTIVE MODEL (PWIM) BASED LEARNING FOR GRADE 3 STUDENTS UNDER THE LOCAL ADMINISTRATIVE ORGANIZATION IN AMNAT CHAROEN

The purpose of this research was to (1) compare the reading and spelling abilities of students before and after learning with PWIM and (2) study the satisfaction of students with PWIM learning management. The sample group consisted of 24 third-grade students at Tessabanamnat School. The research instruments included eight learning management plans, a reading and spelling ability test, and a satisfaction questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the mean. The study’s result found that:1) The learning management plan was effective at 81.51/88.89, meeting the criteria of 80/80. 2) Students had significantly higher average scores in reading and spelling at .05 level. And 3) Students were delighted with the PWIM learning management. The data obtained from this study can be used as a guideline for developing effective English teaching at the primary school level.
