THE MANAGEMENT TOWARDS EXCELLENCE OF EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS UNDER THE JURISDICTION OF THE SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE UBON RATCHATHANI AMNAT CHAROEN

The purposes of this descriptive research were as follows: 1) To study the administration towards excellence of educational institutions. and 2) To study the development of administration towards excellence of educational institutions under the Office of Secondary Education Service Area Ubon Ratchathani Amnat Charoen. It was a mixed-method research. The quantitative research was used. The sample group was 359 teachers of schools under the Office of Secondary Education Service Area Ubon Ratchathani, Amnat Charoen. The sample size was determined by using Taro Yamane's formula and stratified random sampling according to school size. The instrument was a questionnaire with a reliability value of 0.98. The data were analyzed to find percentages, means, and standard deviations. The qualitative research targeted 10 school administrators under the Office of Secondary Education Service Area Ubon Ratchathani Amnat Charoen. The instrument was in-depth interviews. The data were analyzed by content analysis.
The following results were found: The administration towards excellence of educational institutions was at a high level overall. 2) The development of administration towards excellence of educational institutions had the following approaches: academic administration in terms of measurement, analysis, and knowledge management; budget administration in terms of strategic planning; focus on students as stakeholders; outcomes and leadership; personnel administration in terms of focus on human resources; general administration in terms of management of outcomes; focus on students as stakeholders; strategic planning; and measurement, analysis, and knowledge management.
