CONFLICT MANAGEMENT OF EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION ADMINISTRATORS UNDER THE NAKHON RATCHASIMA PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE, 3

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) study the level of conflict management of school administrators under the Office of the Primary Educational Service Area 3, Nakhon Ratchasima, 2) compare the conflict management of school administrators under the Office of the Primary Educational Service Area 3, Nakhon Ratchasima, and 3) study the guidelines for developing conflict management of school administrators under the Office of the Primary Educational Service Area 3, Nakhon Ratchasima. The sample group used in the research was school administrators and teachers in schools under the Office of the Primary Educational Service Area 3, Nakhon Ratchasima, in the academic year 2024, totaling 322 people. The sample group was determined according to the ready-made Krejci and Morgan table, simple random sampling. The research instrument was a 5-level rating scale questionnaire with a consistency index between
0.80-1.00 and a reliability value of 0.93 for the entire test. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and F-value.

          The research results found that:1) The level of conflict management of school administrators under the Office of the Primary Education Service Area 3, Nakhon Ratchasima, in general and in each aspect is at a high level. 2) Comparison of conflict management of school administrators under the Office of the Primary Education Service Area 3, Nakhon Ratchasima, classified by educational qualifications, overall, there is no difference in practice. When considering each aspect, it was found that the aspects of winning, avoiding, and allowing were not different. When classified by work experience, overall, there was a statistically significant difference at the .05 level. When considering each aspect, it was found that the aspects of cooperation and compromise were statistically significant at the .05 level. And 3) Guidelines for developing conflict management of school administrators under the Office of the Primary Educational Service Area of ​​Nakhon Ratchasima Area 3 found that school administrators should use their authority in making decisions, have fair rules and regulations as guidelines for personnel in the school to jointly practice, create awareness, understanding, and goals of work for personnel in the school to see the importance of that work, should solve problems by taking the middle path, focusing on the satisfaction of others to find a solution together, using reason and information, listening to the opinions of all parties before making a decision, being indifferent is a good option if it is a minor problem
