THE 21st CENTURY ADMINISTRATION SKILL OF THE SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS UNDER BANGKOK, NORTH BANGKOK GROUP

This research aimed to 1) study the skills of school administrators in the 21st century, 2) compare the skills of school administrators in the 21st century classified by gender, work experience, and school size, and 3) study the guidelines for developing the skills of school administrators in the 21st century in schools under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Northern Bangkok Group. The sample group used in the research was 328 teachers in schools under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Northern Bangkok Group, with the sample size calculated using the formula of Krejci and Morgan. The research instruments were questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and content analysis for qualitative data.
The research results found that 1) The skills of school administrators in the 21st century, schools under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Northern Bangkok Group, overall and in each aspect were at a high level, consisting of creativity, problem solving, communication, digital technology, and teamwork, respectively. 2) The results of the hypothesis testing found that teachers with different work experiences had different opinions on the skills of school administrators in the 21st century, schools under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Northern Bangkok Group. Teachers with different genders and teachers working in schools of different sizes had no different opinions on the skills of school administrators in the 21st century, schools under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Northern Bangkok Group, at a statistical significance level of 0.05. 3) The guidelines for developing the skills of school administrators in the 21st century consisted of 5 aspects: creativity, problem solving, communication, digital technology, and teamwork.
