INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT FOR THE PEOPLE OF NON SUNG SUBDISTRICT ADMINISTRATIVE ORGANIZATION, MUEANG UDON THANI DISTRICT, UDON THANI PROVINCE

Abstract

This research aimed to study 1) the development of public infrastructure of Non Sung Subdistrict Administrative Organization, 2) compare the development of public infrastructure in the provision of public services of Non Sung Subdistrict Administrative Organization classified by gender, age, education level and occupation, and 3) to provide guidelines for the development of public infrastructure in Non Sung Subdistrict Administrative Organization. The sample group used in this research was 386 people in Non Sung Subdistrict Administrative Organization using Yamane's formula. The instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire. The statistics used for analysis were number, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and data analysis. Hypothesis testing was done using t-test and f-test.

          The research results found that:

1. The overall development of infrastructure for the people of Non Sung Subdistrict Administrative Organization is at a high level (= 3.78). When considering each aspect, it was found that the aspect with the highest average value was the drainage service (= 4.00), followed by the water supply service (= 3.90), and the aspect with the lowest average value was the road service (= 3.40).
2. A comparison of the development of infrastructure for the people of Non Sung Subdistrict Administrative Organization classified by gender, age, education level, and occupation. Overall, people with different education levels have different opinions on the development of infrastructure of Non Sung Subdistrict Administrative Organization with statistical significance at the 0.05 level. People with different gender, age, and occupation have no different opinions on the development of infrastructure of Non Sung Subdistrict Administrative Organization.
3. Suggestions for developing infrastructure for the people in Non Sung Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Mueang Udon Thani District, Udon Thani Province, include surveying road conditions in Non Sung Subdistrict, such as road surface conditions, transportation, traffic accidents, or problems from actual use
