PROMOTING THE PARTICIPATION OF COMMUNITY LEADERS IN PREVENTING DRUG PROMBLEMS IN LUMPLEE SUBDISTRICT ADMINISTRATIVE ORGANIZATION, PHRANAKHON SI AYUTTHAYA DISTRICT, PHRANAKHON SI AYUTTHAYA PROVINCE

Abstract

This research study aimed to: 1) examine the level of participation of community leaders in preventing drug problems in the area of ​​Lum Plee Subdistrict Administrative Organization,. 2) propose guidelines for promoting the participation of community leaders in preventing drug problems in the area of ​​the Lum Plee Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. The research employed both quantitative and qualitative methods. Community leaders in the area of ​​the Lumpli Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, totaling 78 people citizens residing in the area. A questionnaire was used as the research instrument, and statistical analyses included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation. The qualitative research involved 11 key informants, Consisting of 3 groups: 1. Local government executives  2. Community leaders  3. Government officials, 9 people, who have experience in preventing drug problems. Data were collected through interviews. The findings revealed that:

1. The participation of community leaders in preventing drug problems in the area of ​​Lum Plee Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province found that Overall, it was at the highest level. ( = 4.36, S.D. = .58)
