THE GUIDELINES FOR DEVELOPING EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS TO BECOME INNOVATIVE ORGANIZATIONS UNDER THE JURISDICTION OF THE NONG KHAI PROVINCIAL PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to: 1) to Study the current status, desired status, and necessity of being an innovative organization of educational institutions. 2) To find a way to develop educational institutions into innovative organizations. 3) To evaluate the way to develop educational institutions into innovative organizations. The sample group used in the study was 335 school administrators and teachers under the Office of the Primary Education Area of ​​Nong Khai Province, selected by stratified random sampling. The research instrument was a 5-level rating scale questionnaire. Data were analyzed using basic statistics. The current status had a discrimination power of 0.72-0.95 and a reliability of 0.99. The desired status had a discrimination power of 0.40-0.92 and a reliability of 0.98. Phase 2: Find a way to develop educational institutions into innovative organizations using a semi-structured interview.         The informants were 3 schools that studied excellent practices. A purposive selection method was used, considering the specified criteria. Phase 3: Evaluation of the development guidelines of educational institutions into innovative organizations. The research instrument was a      three-dimensional assessment form: usefulness, appropriateness, and feasibility.

          The research findings revealed that: 1) The current state of the innovation organization of the educational institution is at a high level, and the desired state is at the highest level.    2) The most important development guidelines for the educational institution to become an innovation organization are vision, strategy, and goals. The most important guidelines are as follows: The educational institution has set a vision, strategy, and goals together.                     The administrators analyze the current state, the needs of the educational institution and the community, set a work calendar, and the scope of work to be carried out in developing the work so that the educational institution can achieve better results. 3) The evaluation results of the development guidelines for the educational institution to become an innovation organization are at the highest level.
