INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT FOR THE PEOPLE OF KHAM MUANG SUBDISTRICT MUNICIPALITY, KHAM MUANG DISTRICT, KALASIN PROVINCE

This research aimed to study 1) the development of public infrastructure in Kham Muang Subdistrict Municipality; 2) compare public infrastructure development in Kham Muang Subdistrict Municipality; and 3) propose guidelines for public infrastructure development in Kham Muang Subdistrict Municipality. The sample consisted of 363 residents living within Kham Muang Subdistrict Municipality. The questionnaire was used to collect data, with a reliability of 0.848. The statistical analysis used included counts, percentages, means, and standard deviations. Hypothesis testing was performed using t-tests and F-tests.
The results of the study revealed that:
- Overall, public infrastructure development in Kham Muang Subdistrict Municipality was at a high level. When considering each aspect, the highest average value was lighting, followed by drainage, and the lowest average value was roads.
- Results of the comparison of public infrastructure development in Kham Muang Subdistrict Municipality showed that, overall, people of different genders, ages, education levels, and occupations expressed different opinions regarding the public infrastructure development in Kham Muang Subdistrict Municipality. No difference.
- Proposals for infrastructure development for residents in Kham Muang Subdistrict Municipality include a detailed survey of road conditions within the municipality (including main roads, side streets, and agricultural roads).
