QUALITY OF WORKING LIFE OF EMPLOYEES OF KOK KONG SUBDISTRICT MUNICIPALITY, MUEANG BUENG KAN DISTRICT, BUENG KAN PROVINCE

Abstract

This research aimed to study 1) the quality of work life of employees, 2) compare the levels of work life of employees, and 3) propose guidelines for improving the quality of work life of employees. The research population consisted of 104 employees working at Kok Kong Subdistrict Municipality. A questionnaire was used to collect data, with a reliability of 0.810. The statistical analysis included counts, percentages, means, and standard deviations. Hypothesis testing was performed using t-tests and f-tests.

          The results of the study revealed that:

1. Overall, the quality of work life of Kok Kong Subdistrict Municipality employees was at a high level (μ = 3.90). When considering each component, the highest mean score was Safe Workplace (μ = 4.21), followed by Organizational Pride (μ = 4.14), and the lowest mean score was Social Relations (μ = 3.43).
2. The overall comparison revealed that employees with different genders, ages, education levels, work experience, and average monthly income had different quality of work life in Kok Kong Subdistrict Municipality. No difference.
3. Suggestions for improving the quality of work life of Kok Kong Subdistrict Municipality employees include considering adjusting compensation appropriately based on the nature of the work, duties, and responsibilities of each position.
