DEVELOPING DESIGN SKILLS WRITING ILLUSTRATIONS IN VISUAL ARTS OF STUDENTS IN THE FIELD OF ART EDUCATION LOEI RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY TO BE USED AS TEACHING MEDIA IN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

Abstract

Illustrations are important for the development of teaching media in art subjects, which teachers should build upon by developing illustration designs to be used as teaching media for each specific content area in schools. Currently, students still lack understanding in designing illustrations to develop teaching media in schools. Therefore, the researcher sees the importance of studying innovations related to media used in experiments to develop the skills and craftsmanship of students who will be teaching, helping them understand the design process and the creation of teaching media, and to have more diversity than before.

Research on the Development of Illustration Design Skills in Visual Arts for Students of the Art Education Program at Loei Rajabhat University to be Used as Teaching Media in Educational Institutions. The objectives are: 1) To determine the effectiveness of the illustration design skills training program in visual arts for first-year students of the Art Education Program, academic year 2/2017, Loei Rajabhat University, according to the E/E standard = 80/80. 2) To compare the academic achievement of students before and after learning with the illustration design skills training program in visual arts. The target group for this research is the experimental group to determine the quality of the development of illustration design skills in visual arts for students of the Art Education Program at Loei Rajabhat University. The experimental group selected for this research is first-year students of the Art Education Program at Loei Rajabhat University, with a target group of 30 students from the Art Education Program, Faculty of Education, Loei Rajabhat University. The statistics used in the research are the mean and standard deviation. (S.D.) percentage values and dependent T-test values. In summary, the research findings indicate that

The analysis of the effectiveness of the illustration design skill training program for first-year students in the Art Education program at Loei Rajabhat University found that the learning efficiency (E1) was 87.46 and the outcome efficiency (E2) was 87. This indicates that the illustration design skill training program has an E1/E2 efficiency value of 87.46/87.00, which is higher than the established standard.

The analysis of the comparison of academic performance before and after learning, using the illustration design skill training of first-year students in the Art Education program at Loei Rajabhat University, showed statistically significant results at the.05 level (df = 29, critical t value at the 0.05 level).
