Abstract

When talking about behavioral problems of students, bullying is one of the big problems of students. Bullying has been found in students in every generation. Nowadays, technology and social media have a greater impact on students' lives. It makes the bullying behavior of students more dramatic, even physical bullying, verbal bullying, social bullying, and cyberbullying. Bullying leads students to several consequence problems, including physical health problems, psychological problems, and behavioral problems.
These problems might have a long-term impact on students’ lives.

Empathy is one of the most important factors that can help reduce bullying behavior in students. Therefore, this article was written for every related person to help them understand more about empathy and how to promote it in students. The authors believe that when students have empathy, they act respectfully toward others.  That can help to prevent and reduce the number of new bullies and victims.
