The Condition of Online Teaching Management under the COVID-19 Situation at the Undergraduate Level, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to study the condition of online teaching management of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon 2) to apply the information gained from the study to development online teaching management of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon. The data was colleted from the sample consisted of a total of 382 students of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon using a simple random sampling method. The tools used for data collection were questionnaires. The statistics used for data analysis were: percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and correlation coefficient analysis The study revealed that :

1. Readiness of students for online teaching and learning; most students have a Smart Phone or iPad to use and use broadband internet at home for online learning. The overall opinion towards the effectiveness of online teaching management was at a high level and for the teaching styles after the COVID-19 situation, students have a desire to return to traditional methods (in-class learning)

2. Students with different gender, age, class, year, residence and the online learning experience do have different opinions on the condition of online teaching the statistical significance at the (0.05) level. However, the sample group with different family income had no different opinions on the online teaching conditions and the correlation result of the factors of student readiness for online teaching and learning were related to the condition of online teaching and learning at a moderate level.
