Effect of Herbal Mouthwash on the Satisfaction of Reducing Bad Breath

Lesser Galanga herbal mouthwash produced by Chaopraya Abhaiphubet Hospital Foundation is one of the most famous herbal mouthwash in Thailand. This study was aimed to measure the level of satisfaction with the use of herbit by using 30 people with no underlying disease and with regular brushing and flossing. The satisfaction was evaluated by using a questionnaire after rinsing the mouthwash. The study found that the sample were most satisfied with the freshness after use and was least satisfied with the taste of mouthwash. The results of the study may be extended to develop new herbal mouthwash preparation and to be the decision for the long-term use of herbal mouthwash.
