Abstract

With the advancement of technology for producing rapid prototypes, 3D printers have rapidly become the standard tool for product design, prompting the study "Effective Design for 3D Printing." The 3D tool is regarded by most users as one of the most productive tools that can easily produce rapid prototypes and reduce production constraints in comparison to other prototyping methods. However, the use of 3D printers at the non-industrial level is still affecting the production of rapid prototypes, with the commercial sector shifting from traditional handcraft modeling to the use of 3D printing services. Additionally, 3D printing can lead to an increase in plastic waste due to the increased use of materials in production. This considerably increases the cost of labor compared to manual modeling.

By studying how to build a model for 3D printing and gaining knowledge of the fundamental circumstances of 3D printing, users will be able to comprehend the working principle and certain crucial production conditions. The design of the model within the constraints of the 3D printing technique will be advantageous to both users and the business sector. In the experiment, modifying the model to be suited for 3D printing resulted in a significant reduction in manufacturing time, especially as the production scaled up. It will also reduce the use of needless materials. This article will help the reader to create a model for the efficient and economical production of parts in terms of materials and production time.
