Abstract

          The purpose of this research is to 1) To create construction of analytical thinking ability test for Prathomsuksa 6 under the office of the basic education commission Udon Thani Province. 2) To determine the quality of the analytical thinking ability test for Prathomsuksa 6 students under the office of the basic education commission Udon Thani Province 3) To create a manual for the analytical thinking ability test for Prathomsuksa 6 students under the office of the basic education commission Udon Thani Province. The sample were used by 662 students who had studied for Prathomsuksa 6 in the 2022 academic year in Udon Thani province by multi-stage random sampling. The instrument used was a 45 questions test aimed at measuring analytical thinking abilities in 3 areas 1) Analysis of Elements 2) Analysis of Relationships 3) Analysis of Organizational Principles. Which is an exam with 4 options, correct answer 1-point, wrong answer 0 point. The research results concluded that.

          1) Analytical thinking ability test It is a set of questions used to measure analytical thinking abilities, totaling 45 questions, in the form of 4 choices, 1 answer, which are used to measure analytical thinking abilities in 3 areas: Analysis of Elements, Analysis of Relationships, Analysis of Organizational Principles.

          2) The content validity of the development of the measurement instruments of the of analytical thinking ability, investigated by calculating the item objective congruence index (IOC), was in the range of 0.60 – 1.00; Difficulty was range of 0.58 – 0.79; The item discrimination index was range of 0.58 – 0.79; Kuder-Richardson 20 reliability coefficient was 0.959; the measurements were structurally accurate. which is consistent with empirical data with Chi-square (X2) with 669.93 df was 666 (p=0.449); RMR was 0.025; RMSEA was 0.004; GFI was 0.94; and AGFI was 0.90;

          3) A manual for analytical thinking ability test are suitable and contain all essential components Evaluation results of the manual for analytical thinking ability test by experts The validity index of the content and structure of the test was 0.83.
