Abstract

The objectives of this research were to (1) examine stakeholder perspectives on the components of a creative Buddhist art learning space; (2) assess the potential of the creative Buddhist art learning space in fostering community-based cultural learning; and (3) establish context-responsive design guidelines for a creative Buddhist art learning space. Employing a quantitative methodology, data were collected from 40 purposively sampled participants using a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire. The instrument underwent rigorous validation, demonstrating sound content validity and high internal consistency (Cronbach’s alpha > 0.80). Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics and correlation analysis

The results revealed that (1) Quantitative and Descriptive Assessment The overall evaluation of the study demonstrated an 'Excellent' level of implementation, with a total mean score of 4.31 (S.D. = 0.60). The highest ratings were observed in the conceptual framework of Buddhist art and the prototype spatial design. However, (2) The domain identified as requiring further development was the learning center management system. Nevertheless, Wat Sri Khun Mueang possesses the requisite components and high potential to be developed as a prototype for creative Buddhist art learning centers. And (3) A development approach anchored in cultural identity and active community involvement. The Emergence of the TAD Model Anchored in local cultural identity and community engagement, the research yielded a novel theoretical framework designated as the TAD Model (Transformation of Art-based Development Model). The model articulates the systematic development of Buddhist art learning resources across three core dimensions. Conceptual Dimension: The synthesis and integration of art, Dhamma (Buddhist teachings), local culture, and modern technology. Process Dimension: A community-centric, participatory development approach. Application Dimension: The strategic transformation of a traditional temple into a contemporary Buddhist art learning center.
