Abstract
This research article aimed to: 1) study the level of administrative performance of the administrators of Phot Chai Subdistrict Municipality, Phanom Phrai District, Roi Et Province; 2) compare the opinions of the people toward the administrative performance of the administrators of Phot Chai Subdistrict Municipality, classified by personal factors; and 3) propose administrative management guidelines based on the Four Paths of Accomplishment (Iddhipada Dhamma) for the administrators of Phot Chai Subdistrict Municipality, Phanom Phrai District, Roi Et Province, This study employed a mixed-methods research design. The quantitative sample consisted of 374 residents living within the area of Phot Chai Subdistrict, Phanom Phrai District, Roi Et Province. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to the sample group. In the qualitative phase, in-depth interviews were conducted with 9 key informants, including monks and laypersons, and the data were analyzed using descriptive content analysis.
The findings revealed that: 1) The overall level of administrative performance of the administrators of Phot Chai Subdistrict Municipality, Phanom Phrai District, Roi Et Province, was at a high level ( = 4.41 S.D. = 0.401), 2) The comparison of people’s opinions toward the administrative performance of the municipal administrators, classified by personal factors, indicated that differences in gender, age, educational level, occupation, and monthly income did not result in statistically significant differences in opinions regarding the administration based on the Four Paths of Accomplishment (Iddhipada Dhamma) at the .05 level; therefore, the research hypotheses were rejected, and 3) Regarding administrative management based on the Four Paths of Accomplishment (Iddhipada Dhamma), the study found that the administrators of Phot Chai Subdistrict Municipality should integrate all four principles of Iddhipada Dhamma into administrative practices in accordance with management concepts in order to enhance administrative effectiveness and organizational efficiency.
