The International Journal of Science Education and Teaching (IJSET) is pleased to announce that, effective 4 August 2026, the journal has revised its copyright and licensing policy to align with international best practices for open-access scholarly publishing.

Accordingly, IJSET has replaced the Copyright Transfer Agreement (CTA) with the License to Publish Agreement (LTP).

Under the revised policy:

  • Authors retain the copyright to their published work.

  • Authors grant IJSET a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual license to publish, reproduce, distribute, archive, preserve, and index their articles in print and electronic formats.

  • All published articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License, allowing the widest possible dissemination and reuse of scholarly research with appropriate attribution.

This policy revision does not affect authors' ownership of their intellectual property. Instead, it strengthens IJSET's commitment to internationally recognized standards for open-access publishing, promotes greater accessibility of scholarly research, and enhances compliance with best practices recommended by DOAJ and other international indexing services.

Authors whose manuscripts are accepted for publication will be required to complete and sign the License to Publish Agreement (LTP) before their articles are published. The corresponding author may sign the agreement on behalf of all co-authors, confirming that all authors have agreed to the terms of publication.

The Editorial Board sincerely thanks all authors, reviewers, and readers for their continued trust and support. We remain committed to maintaining the highest standards of research integrity, publication ethics, and open-access scholarly communication.
