Abstract
This research aimed to: 1) examine the academic administration of school administrators in the new normal era toward advancing innovative schools; and 2) explore recommendations for developing academic administration of school administrators in the new normal era toward advancing innovative schools. The sample consisted of 155 participants, including 16 school administrators and 139 teachers working in the Pra Chim Non-Khun Integrated Education Quality Development Network Group under the Si Sa Ket Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The sample was selected using stratified random sampling based on proportional allocation, together with simple random sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire comprising 32 items, with an Index of Item-Objective Congruence (IOC) of 1.00 for all items, item discrimination values ranging from .465 to .807, and a reliability coefficient of .95. The data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.
The findings revealed that: 1) the overall level of academic administration of school administrators in the new normal era toward advancing innovative schools was at a high level; and 2) the recommendations for development indicated that school administrators should initiate and systematically implement an Active Community Partnership for Innovation to enhance teachers’ capacity in establishing effective community collaboration. This approach should emphasize engaging parents, local communities, local administrative organizations, and enterprises as active educational partners in co-developing instructional innovations. Furthermore, teachers should be encouraged to conduct in-depth community-based explorations and integrate local knowledge into the design of learning activities that connect with real-life contexts at least once per semester. This will foster meaningful learning experiences and ensure alignment with local contexts.
