GOOD GOVERNANCE MANAGEMENT OF NON SANG DISTRICT OFFICE, NONG BUA LAMPHU PROVINCE

Abstract

This research aimed to study 1) the administration based on the principles of good governance of Non Sang District Office, 2) compare the administration based on the principles of good governance of Non Sang District Office classified by gender, age, education level and occupation, and 3) propose guidelines to enhance the administration based on the principles of good governance of Non Sang District Office. The sample group used in this research was the eligible voters aged 18 years and over who resided in Non Sang District, totaling 397 people, obtained from Yamane's formula. The instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire. The statistics used for analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and f-test.

          The research results found that:

1. The governance management of Non Sang District Office, Nong Bua Lamphu Province, was at a high level overall. When considering each aspect, the aspect with the highest mean was the efficiency aspect, followed by the responsiveness aspect. And the aspect with the lowest average value is the aspect of sense of responsibility.
2. The overall management according to the principles of good governance of Non Sang District Office, Nong Bua Lamphu Province, was at a high level ( = 4.23, S.D = 0.26). When considering each aspect, it was found that the aspect with the highest mean was the principle of effectiveness ( = 4.62, S.D = 0.34), followed by the principle of responsiveness ( = 4.61, S.D = 0.35), and the aspect with the lowest mean was the principle of responsibility ( = 3.91, S.D = 0.39).
3. Guidelines for developing and strengthening the management according to the principles of good governance of the Non Sang District Office, Nong Bua Lamphu Province include listening to opinions, complaints, or suggestions from the public and stakeholders by providing correct and relevant information.
