Utilization of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) on Operational Performance of Thailand Post Company Limited

Abstract

      RFID Technology is adopted in Thailand Post Company Limited to increase competitiveness and efficiency in mail distribution and delivery services. This research aimed to study the relationship of the RFID adoption to operation success of Thailand Post Company Limited. The sample group was Thailand Post Company Limited Centers. After the data cleaning process, the data obtained from 152 companies were analyzed using Structural Equation Model analysis.


          The results showed that using RFID technology had a positive effect on the operational performance. Besides, using RFID technology with emphasis on the business perspective and strategic planning showed a positive effect on the operational performance.
