The Development guidelines for the operation of Wor-kaew Namprik-Larb into the Standard of Food and Drug

Abstract

The objective of this study was to investigate the guidelines to for development the operation of Wor-kaew Namprik-Larb into the standard of food and drug. The methodology was conducted by exploring related documents. Data were collected through non-participant observation, in-depth interview, and focus group. Wor-kaew Namprik-Larb was a keys informant that a gained from multiple sources. Data were analyzed through descriptive statistics, content analysis. Then data were summarized for drawing the conclusions and suggestions.

The results of this study showed that: the financial management was the most important problem then the production management, marketing management and organization structure. This was a critical condition for success in business operation. The results of the assessment of the production environment according to the standard of food and drug from the self-assessment showed that the overall average score was considered fair. The main issues that need to be improved are structure of the production site, including the installation of a wire to prevent insects and the protection of production and packaging areas, etc. There is a development approach, which is how to find government funding sources. As for the cleanliness and tidiness of the production facility, the 5S principle applies.
