Abstract

The objectives of this research were to unite farmers to develop a participatory organic farming certification system and increase distribution channels of agricultural products of community, Bueng Cham O Sub-district, Nong Suea District, Pathum Thani Province, Thailand. Research is participatory action research. (Participatory Action Research: PAR) sample group used in the study. The sample group is Key Informant, which is farmers. 24 government officials, procedures and methods for collecting data by meetings, discussion groups, and interviews with target farmers Analysis of triangular data validation data (Triangulation Technique) is used to translate the meaning together with transcription and field recording in many ways, and the reliability of the data is checked. Finally, return the information collected for the intended purpose. and knowledge gained from research.  The results of the research found that 1) the establishment of a farmer group had the goals of the group members, group leaders, rules for members' coexistence, group activities, and group funds 2) Developing a participatory organic farming certification system The target farmers cooperate in growing organic crops at a high level. Accounting for hundreds or more than 80%, namely (1) not burning per straw, grass in the participating agricultural plots (2) making a buffer line between chemical plots and organic plots clearly (3) not using any agricultural chemicals at least 12 (4) months. Avoid seeds that have been mixed with chemicals. and the source is not clearly known; and (5) be careful not to contaminate the use of household chemicals in organic farming plots. Things that require cooperation from members include vegetables that are planted from the same seed to be planted at least 30 meters apart, and members must keep a record of growing organic plants. And 3) Set up an agricultural product unit. organic marketing Should consider the environment, health and community potential. has distributed organic products such as (1) a direct market or a local market (Bung Cham Or community), (2) a retail market specialized in organic, and 3) a wholesale market specialized in organic agriculture. In this regard, the promotion of the group's work leads to the distribution of income in the community, which leads to sustainable development.
