Abstract

This Article focuses on the Sharenting in Thailand which is the new wave of problem came with the worldwide using of social media. Parents construct the identity of themselves and the identity of their children, whether they are willing or not this behavior might create the risk for their child. Whether in terms of safety risk from crime Identity, medical, and psychological that may lead their child to the problems in near future.


In Thailand, some research shows the involvement of Sharenting behavior with the Thai social concept of Child right depend on the parents while Thai law hanged behind the new risk of identity. Thai parents sharing their kids photographs, videos, and information of their child with positive thought and many didn’t reconsider about their child’s risk. However, some show us a debate and dilemma between pleasure, life, and management about raising children.


Studies show this issue connected with whole part of society. Social workers, government officers, civil society, and parents should be involved to reconsidered about roles and responsibilities to managing and protecting children from risk of various problems in social media.
