ข้อผิดพลาดในการแปลภาษาอังกฤษเป็นภาษาไทยของนิสิตเอกภาษาอังกฤษ มหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร

งานวิจัยนี้มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อนำเสนอประเภทข้อผิดพลาดในการแปลของนิสิตเอกภาษาอังกฤษชั้นปีที่ 2 และ 3 มหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร โดยใช้การแบ่งประเภทตามสมาคมการแปลแห่งสหรัฐอเมริกา (The American Translators Association) ผลการวิจัยพบว่าข้อผิดพลาดที่พบมากที่สุดได้แก่ แปลผิดความหมาย (Meaning Transfer) (53.32%) รองลงมาคือ ความสามารถและลีลาในการใช้ภาษา (Writing Ability and Style) (28.91%) และแปลผิดทางไวยากรณ์ (Mechanism) (17.77%) พบน้อยที่สุด สิ่งเหล่านี้สะท้อนให้เห็นว่าความรู้เรื่องไวยากรณ์เพียงอย่างเดียวอาจจะยังไม่เพียงพอต่อการเป็นนักแปลที่ดี ผู้แปลจำเป็นต้องมีความรู้รอบตัวและคลังคำที่เพียงพอ รวมทั้งความสามารถในการใช้ภาษาหลากระดับ
