Abstract

The research purposes were 1) to study the participation level of people in Pak Phraek Municipality, Kanchanaburi and 2) to study guidelines for promoting career development for people in Pak Phraek Municipality, Kanchanaburi. The sample group used in the research were personnel of Pak Phraek Municipality, Kanchanaburi, who were interviewed with an interview form for collecting data before analyzing and presenting the project. The research results found that in the policy/ plan, Pak Phraek Municipality had created a project to promote careers for people, encouraged citizens to participate in expressing opinions, and made decisions on organizing projects related to career promotion. The results of studying guidelines for promoting career development for people in Pak Phraek Municipality, Kanchanaburi found that there were methods to promote careers and wisdom conservation applied in Pak Phraek Municipality. The Pak Phraek Municipality created a project to promote careers for people and disseminate knowledge to participants. People could apply their knowledge to careers to support themselves and their families in the future. Some experts regard wisdom and handicrafts as advertisers in the Pak Phraek Municipality area. There were local women leader’s groups who were experts in handicrafts. Promotion of distribution channel knowledge was provided through career development programs by using technology in sales to expand trading channels for the community's famous products or OTOP products for others to see the real products and prices that were options for consumers. It found that posting for sale on online channels also helps increase the variety of trading channels. People can access the shop, saving a lot of time, labour, and budget.
