POLITICAL PATICIPATION OF PEOPLE IN REPUBLIC OF SINGGPORE

Abstract

         Political participation is important to national, economic, social, and technological development. The importance of political participation is crucial to the development of democracy. including the people's rights and obligations to participate in politics through various channels and processes as defined by current constitutional law which, if the people have an understanding of the political participation process, While increasing political participation will result in the progressive development of a more sustainable democracy. When there is good political and administrative stability, it will affect economic development. The social and security of the country permanently. 

          Nowadays, the Republic of Singapore is a country that has high political stability. This stability is the result of the one-party dominant system ruled by the People’s Action Party (PAP) for more than five decades. The continued growth and the advanced development in all aspects of Singapore are much higher when compared with the neighboring countries on the same continent. This makes it interesting to study Singapore and the political participation of Singaporeans in the Republic of Singapore. This essay wants to make the reader understand the prosperity of Singapore under the governance of one man. Furthermore, this essay wants to present the visions of a good leader in terms of the country’s governance in order to lead the country into prosperity in all aspects: politics, education, and economics, and continue the success until today. If the strengths or advantages of Singapore are applied, the way of participation of the people in Thailand should affect sustainable development in various dimensions of our country as well.
