The needs of the leadership of school administrators in the digital age in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Primary Educational Service Area

This study was aimed to identify the needs on leadership skills desired by school administrators in the digital age and to prioritize the needs for leadership skills of school administrators. By using de Vaus random tables, 204 teachers working under the Primary Education Service Area of Ayutthaya province, were selected as the informants, and were asked to answer a 5-rating scale questionnaire. The data was then analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation and the PNI analysis method. The research results indicated that the expectation for leadership of school administrators in the digital age was higher than current state both on overall and on the individual aspect. The needs for leadership skills of school administrators can be put in order from the most to least importance: (1) creating innovators to work within corporative culture, (2) possessing good visions, (3) being an efficient digital user, (4) using information effectively for communication, (5) building teamwork, and (6) being digital literacy.
