Abstract

This research aims to promote, support and preserve the cultural tradition of offering Kathin ceremony. This is the duty of Buddhists to apply Dhamma principles to their daily lives appropriately and correctly and to study the level of satisfaction with the implementation of the Kathin ceremony offered by Somdet Phra Ariyawongsakatayanana. The research used a mixed method. It had been operated since September to November 2023. Basic statistics to analyze data were used. The research results found that personnel of Surindra Rajabhat University and the general public participating in the activity and 116 people responded to the assessment. Results of the analysis of the level of knowledge and understanding in the Kathin ceremony which is offered by Somdej Phra Ariyawongsakatayanana. Somdej Phra Sangharaja Sakon Maha Sangkhaparinayok at Phayuang Suk Temple (Aphirak Sukwanaram), Chokna Sam Sub-district, Prasat district, Surin Province. Overall, 67 people answered correctly, accounting for 57.76 percentage, and the results of the analysis of the level of satisfaction with the implementation of the Kathin ceremony offered by Somdet Phra Ariyawongsakatayanana. Somdej Phra Sangharaja Sakon Maha Sangkhaparinayok at Phayuang Suk Temple (Aphirak Sukwanaram), Chokna Sam Subdistrict, Prasat District, Surin Province. Overall, satisfaction was at the high level (Mean 4.47). The results of this work have created good guidelines for organizing activities and are guidelines for use and can be integrated with other activities of the same nature.
