Agile Leadership: Leadership to Be Created in Educational Institutions

Abstract

         Agile Leadership is very important to the educational institution developments and managements. It is the leadership of changes, agilities, and flexibilities that is appropriate to the current changes in the world societies. This make the educational institutions carry out the missions to accomplish the goals set effectively. This article aims to present Agile Leadership and Educational leadership in the new era. These are skills that educational institution administrators need to have so as to increase their ability to manage their work performance efficiently in an environment that is full of uncertainty, fluctuation, and gradual changes. It consists of 1) the meaning of Agile; 2) concepts of agile leadership; 3) Agile processes; and 4) the advantages and the limitation of school administrations. If the school administrators can learn and develop themselves to have agile leadership, then it will be an important force in driving the missions of the educational institutions. and if the concept of leadership can be combined with the concepts of educational administration and situations appropriately. This could lead to the effectiveness of educational institutions and this could achieve the goals together with serves the changes of any directions of the world in the modern era.
